EAA was founded in 1953 by Paul H. Poberezny, who served as the organization’s president until 1989 then chairman of the board from until 2009. It has grown from a handful of aviation enthusiasts to an international organization representing virtually the entire spectrum of recreational aviation. The magnificent “tower of aviation” welcomes your guests to EAA Aviation Center, creating a striking setting for a unique wedding in a venue full of adventure and excitement. The museum lobby is the perfect place for hors d’oeuvres and cocktails pre-ceremony or during the reception and party.
