Powerhouse Community Arts Center Overview
Are you in search of a wedding venue filled with visual interest? Do you want a venue that your guests will remember for years to come? Then consider hosting your special day at Powerhouse, part of the Yoknapatawpha Community Arts Council. Constructed in the 1920’s, this former electrical plant is an impressive brick building filled with early 20th century charm. This large space is able to accommodate both your ceremony and reception. The interior features exposed brick walls, rustic concrete floors, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. With the freedom to bring in your own decorations, such as alter for your ceremony or chandeliers or string lights for your reception, you have the ability to create the wedding of your dreams with an added industrial appeal. Plan your ceremony space in the room to incorporate the large windows into your backdrop; exchange your vows of everlasting love and commitment illuminated by the natural light shining through the towering windows. Following the nuptials, celebrate your newly cemented marriage by wining and dining your guests in a comfortable space to fit any size guest list.Venue Notes
