A National Historic Landmark, Locust Grove is a unique example of early Kentucky architecture, craftsmanship and history. The beautifully preserved grounds and 1792 Georgian mansion tell the story of its builders, of American beginnings, and now, of your love story. Situated on 55 rolling acres just six miles upriver from downtown Louisville, the grounds of the estate include a pavilion, formal gardens, lawns, and the porch of the house. Enjoy the backdrop of the lush, green surroundings and the historic home for your wedding ceremony. For the evening affair, tents can be set up in the gardens or make use of the new pavilion for a stunning and unique outdoor dining experience. Alternatively, the Visitor’s Center building includes the spacious Audubon Room for an equally beautiful indoor celebration. At any point, guests are welcome to wander through the gardens and grounds for a taste of true historic beauty and charm!
