Haines Fairgrounds Overview

The Southeast Alaska State Fairgrounds offers multiple venues to meet the needs for both your wedding and reception. Harriett Hall has 5,000 square feet of open reception space with acoustic treatments and portable room dividers, a “break-out” room complete with new furnishings, and a full commercial kitchen. The Hall can be transformed into a banquet room, with seating for up to 300. Technological aids include high-speed wireless Internet, audio visual equipment and screens, band-ready sound and stage PA system, dance floor, and comfortable seating at tables. Harriett Hall is an excellent space especially for wedding receptions. A number of outdoor venues are also available for either wedding or reception. Paysons Pavilion is a fully covered stage and large area for dinner and dancing, surrounded by the colorful booths and rides of the Fair, perfect for a carnival atmosphere. The Park Stage is a covered pavilion surrounded by forest and parkland, with an adjacent playground to keep the young ones entertained. White Fang Way is the rustic "main street"of the original White Fang movie set, perfect for a ceremony or reception amongst quaint Gold Rush era shops.
