Burge Plantation Overview

Burge invites you to celebrate your nuptials in a beautiful country setting just 45 minutes east of Atlanta. Burge is an historic site with the traditional charm and romance of its rich past, yet modern in its facilities and services. Your ceremony can be held on the front steps of the Main House, under the stately oaks in the front yard or behind the house in the formal garden, or on the croquet lawn. Your reception will be held in and around the elegant Burge Conservatory and its covered terrace, both of which can be either heated or cooled depending on the weather. Surrounding the Conservatory and Main House are spacious lawns and gardens as well as two additional pavilions. The full-service events facility specializes in intimate gatherings of up to a 100 guests. After your ceremony, you and your guests will indulge in a delectable catered meal customized to your preferences by Burge's Executive Chef. Eat! Drink! Dance! And be married! The dedicated and experienced staff is ready to assist you with planning the wedding of your dreams.
