The Hall of State at Fair Park Overview

“Larger than life” is the only phrase that could adequately describe the Hall of State at Fair Park. This stately venue is ideal for soon-to-be-wed couples that want jaws to drop on their wedding day! Originally built in the 1930’s as the centerpiece of the Texas Centennial celebration, this beautiful campus is now known as one of the nation’s largest complexes of Art Deco buildings that remains intact. The Great Hall is impressive for any occasion, whether you are saying your “I do’s” or dancing the night away after you’ve sealed the deal! Marble floors, soaring ceilings, and massive columns are defining characteristics of the space -- as well as the massive golden medallion that hands at one end of the Great Hall. Romantic candle chandeliers add a vintage touch to this already markedly historic venue. Aside from reveling in the sumptuous surroundings, you and your guests will also enjoy a delicious plated dinner or finely curated buffet meal of your choice.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,750 to $2,750 for a reception and includes 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rental fee ranges from $1,750 to $2,750 for a ceremony and includes an extra hour of event time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. A refundable security deposit of $500 is required.
