Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, just over an hour from Downtown Richmond and two hours from Washington, DC, a quiet retreat awaits. Rolling hills and fields of vines surround the comfortable, rustic facility. Having a wedding celebration in a special environment enhances the experience for all who participate. Creating that truly memorable wedding at First Colony Winery is easy! Host your ceremony and/or reception on First Colony’s grounds, overlooking the vineyards. Or host it indoors in the beautiful loft with panoramic views. The slate and brick patio, two-tiered deck, and lawn are ideal outdoor sites for a rustic outdoor wedding. The Tavern Room, Tasting Room, and Loft are located indoors, providing a haven for your guests to dine and dance in. Be sure to pose with your loved one among the lush vines for gorgeous photos that will hold the happy memories of the day!Venue Notes
Four our outdoor venue beside the vines, the rental fee is $2,500. This space accommodates up to 200 people. For 100 guests or less, our Loft is available as a reception option and rents for $4,500. This area includes the rental of tables and chairs for the reception and use of our tasting room for cocktail hour. A non-refundable security deposit of $500 is required. Only First Colony wine may be served during the event. Other types of alcohol may be served with an ABC license.
