The University Club and its sister property, the downtown Saint Paul Athletic Club, provide the perfect backdrop for the celebration of a lifetime. Envisioning an outdoor ceremony? They’ll host you at Lookout Park on Summit Avenue, adjacent to the University Club, where your guests will enjoy stunning views of downtown Saint Paul and the river valley. Next, enjoy your reception in the Grand Ballroom. As the Saint Paul Athletic Club's main dining room, the Grand Ballroom has been painstakingly restored to its original (1917) appearance. It features breathtaking detail, including an intricate ornamental plaster ceiling, dark marble walls, and two-story windows. Whether you host a small or large wedding, your guests will be wowed, and you'll be relaxed. Professional catering and event staff work closely with each couple to meticulously plan every detail, ensuring that nothing is overlooked. Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $2,000 to $2,500 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. There is also a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The fee for a ceremony is $1000.
