Aquarium of the Pacific Overview

At once charming and whimsical, the Aquarium of the Pacific offers a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop for your wedding day. This unique venue is located adjacent to Rainbow Harbor in downtown Long Beach, offering a centrally located setting for saying your “I do’s.” Each of the Aquarium’s singular spaces offers an immersive atmosphere that is sure to impress and dazzle. The Blue Cavern, a beautiful space with towering tanks of fish and contemporary architecture, is commonly selected for hosting unforgettable ceremonies. The Rooftop Veranda -- complete with stellar skyline and waterfront views -- is perfect for saying your “I do’s” at sunset or hosting a casual cocktail style reception. The Great Hall is a truly unparallel reception location, featuring sky high ceilings, multiple skylights, and life-sized blue whale mounted directed over your dining guests. More intimate celebrations can take place at Cafe Scuba, which offers a terrace looking out over the docks. When you and your guests aren’t toasting to your union, you can take a moment to tour some of the Aquarium’s fantastic exhibits with cocktails in hand.

Venue Notes

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 4 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rental fee for a wedding ceremony ranges from $750 to $1,000. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $750/hr.
