Perched atop beautiful Sunset Hill, Oldest House offers a wonderful combination of timeless intimacy and 17th century charm. Originally built in 1686 as a wedding gift for Jethro Coffin and Mary Gardner, couples that wed here are not only saying their “I do’s” at the last standing structure from the island’s English settlements, but are also placing themselves into a long line of couples that have enjoyed the property since its construction. Nestled on a rolling acre of pastoral beautiful that captures the spirit of Nantucket history, The Oldest House is perfect for charming outdoor wedding ceremonies and intimate reception dinners. Envision walking down a grassy aisle as the sun leaks through the leaves of mature trees, allowing you to exchange your vows surrounded by greenery and splendor. You can also enjoy a beautiful open air dinner beneath the stars, the surrounding structure creating an enchanting feel that brims with boundless romance.Venue Notes
The rental fee starts at $3,000 for a reception and includes 3 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The rental fee for a ceremony is $1,500. A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required. Please note fees listed here are starting prices and may vary upon guest count and use of space.
